Attend monthly board meetings, held on the last Thursday of each month (in person or virtual).
Actively participate in discussions, planning, and decision-making to guide EMC Arts’ mission and growth.
Serve as an ambassador for EMC Arts, promoting our programs, events, and community presence.
Support fundraising initiatives, including the annual gala, student performances, and community events.
Participate in at least one committee (e.g., fundraising, marketing, education, or community engagement).
Contribute ideas and expertise to strengthen our programming, partnerships, and outreach.
Assist in identifying potential donors, sponsors, and collaborators.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for the arts, education, and community involvement.
Experience or interest in nonprofit management, fundraising, marketing, education, finance, or event planning.
Strong communication, collaboration, and follow-through skills.
Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the arts.
Ability to contribute time, expertise, and resources to support EMC Arts’ ongoing development.
Previous nonprofit or board experience is welcome but not required.
