    Volunteer Website Manager - Talented Girls in Action (TGIA)Position Overview:

    Talented Girls in Action (TGIA) is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Website Manager to maintain and enhance our online presence. This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting nonprofit organizations and skilled in website management. The Website Manager will ensure that our website remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with TGIA’s mission to empower young girls through education, mentorship, and leadership development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Update and maintain website content, including program information, event announcements, and blog posts.
    • Ensure the website is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and fully functional.
    • Optimize website performance, including loading speed and mobile responsiveness.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, coordinating with hosting services if needed.
    • Implement basic SEO strategies to improve search engine visibility.
    • Collaborate with the TGIA team to ensure website content aligns with organizational goals.
    • Track website analytics and provide insights on user engagement.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Experience with website management platforms (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar).
    • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or website design principles is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to update content efficiently.
    • Understanding of SEO best practices is a bonus.
    • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the team.
    • Passion for supporting nonprofit initiatives and empowering young girls.

    Time Commitment:

    • Flexible hours, approximately 5-10 hours per month (can vary based on updates and projects).
    • Remote position with occasional virtual check-ins.
