    Description

    NWTT Disaster Response Volunteers support communities affected by wildfires and severe weather. Volunteers assist with field operations, situational mapping, survivor support, and logistics. Responsibilities may include:

    • Supporting incident mapping, FireWatch data collection, and on-the-ground observations
    • Assisting with community outreach, survivor check-ins, and resource coordination
    • Helping with shelter operations, supply distribution, or damage assessments (as assigned)
    • Participating in safety briefings, training sessions, and team communication channels

    Qualifications:

    • Must be 18+ and willing to complete required training
    • Ability to work in fast-paced or changing environments
    • Interest in emergency response, public safety, GIS, or community support
    • Team-oriented, reliable, and able to follow safety protocols
    • Field roles require basic physical capability; non-field remote roles available

    • Deployment is optional and based on availability

    • No prior experience required — just commitment and willingness to learn
