    Description

    Elementary Arts Facilitator Intern

    Overview

Million Little Interns will help prepare for and deliver art-based social emotional learning for our early childhood offering, Creativity in the Classroom & Beyond (CIC). This beloved program invites elementary students (K-3) to play and work together through literacy and art and promotes equitable access to creative exploration. Interns will support ML Facilitators in the preparation and transportation of materials, co-facilitation of content at the school site each week, and logging of field notes for this highly engaging, strengths-based program. Interns also engage in Million Little’s ongoing education throughout the term, focusing on trauma-informed care, a strengths-based approach/inclusive language, and setting boundaries.

Interns are invited after the conclusion of their internship to participate at no cost in Million Little trainings, which include topics such as adultism, the school-to-prison pipeline, attachment theory, and more.
