    GoodBot

    goodbot is an interdisciplinary community of socially-minded professionals working in law, technology, design, social sciences, and policy. Our purpose is to support the development of trusted, accountable, and socially sustainable technology ecosystems by strengthening awareness, research, policy, and practice.

    We offer professional services to help technology companies develop and embed measurable social impact strategies into their products and business models and help them to navigate a complex and rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

    We also develop original research on emerging innovation, technology risks and harms, and approaches needed to effectively govern technology and build toward healthy and inclusive digital societies that benefit everyone.

    About the role: We're seeking a few additional volunteers - ideally those with experience working with children - to help design and administer a digital literacy and online safety campaign for school-aged kids.

    If you're passionate about digital well-being and want to help create impactful educational content for young learners, we’d love to hear from you.

    Requirements

    • 1-4 years of experience in marketing and social media (professional, academic, or volunteer-based)
    • Experience with CRM platforms
    • Proficiency in managing social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok
    • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), photography, or video editing software is an asset
    • Action oriented, problem solving and excellent attention skills.
    • PR experience an asset

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies that highlight GoodBot’s impact and community engagement
    • Create marketing emails, communication materials, and reports aligned with our outreach goals
    • Measure and report the outcomes of campaigns using platform analytics
    • Manage online marketing and social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn) and email communications
    • Identify and build strategic partnerships with both traditional and non-traditional media
    • Recruit volunteer designers to support marketing material development
    • Support the continuous improvement of GoodBot’s business development strategy
