    Description

    Be the lifeline seniors need when disaster strikes. When hurricanes hit or emergencies arise, vulnerable seniors face unique challenges like limited mobility, health concerns, and isolation. The Senior Disaster Support Program provides a lifeline of preparedness, relief, and recovery. But we can't do it alone. We need community partners like you to expand our impact and ensure seniors have the resources and relationships to stay safe and supported before, during, and after disasters.

    Adopt-a-Community: Make a Local Impact That Matters

    Support seniors by providing disaster preparedness and fostering connections in their communities. Through the Adopt-a-Community initiative, partners:

    • Commit to Lead: Recruit a team of volunteers and host montly workshops using a ready-made curriculum to educate and connect with seniors.
