    Description

Program Transition & Experience Lead (Atlanta or Virtual) (Volunteer)

    About A&N Career Services Project

The A&N Career Services Project is a structured, cohort-based workforce and career mobility initiative expanding access to opportunity through intentional programming, measurable outcomes, and cross-sector collaboration.

As we gear up to launch our inaugural cohort model, we are building enterprise-level systems that support sustainability, clarity, and professional standards across the full program lifecycle.

The Program Transition & Experience Lead will play a foundational role in shaping how each cohort concludes -ensuring a structured, affirming, and professionally executed transition experience.

    Role Overview

The Program Transition & Experience Lead supports the design and execution of A&N’s formal cohort closeout framework.

Scope of this role is limited to cohort members serving in volunteer leadership and execution capacities within the program structure.

This role ensures that, prior to program completion:

    • Approved and verified portfolios are disseminated appropriately
    • Contributions and impact are clearly documented
    • Transition communications are structured and consistent
    • Work product and documentation are properly transferred
    • Systems access is coordinated in alignment with leadership guidance

Working in collaboration with other volunteer leads and aligned with the strategic direction established by A&N’s executive and leadership team, this role supports broader organizational goals of operational excellence, governance integrity, and long-term continuity.

This is a systems-building and experience-design role, not simply an administrative wrap-up function.

    Key Responsibilities

    Portfolio Verification & Dissemination

    • Coordinate distribution of approved and verified portfolio materials prior to cohort completion
    • Ensure deliverables are complete, organized, and professionally formatted
    • Track confirmations and maintain documentation records

    Cohort Impact Synthesis

    • Develop concise written summaries highlighting:
      • Individual contributions
      • Cohort milestones
      • Program achievements and measurable outcomes
    • Assist in preparing transition communications and next-step guidance
    • Capture and synthesize key insights to inform future cohort improvements

    Transition Experience Coordination

    • Support planning and execution of a structured cohort closeout moment
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure recognition aligns with brand standards
    • Help maintain consistency across transition messaging and documentation

    Process Development & Standardization

    • Help formalize the official cohort transition workflow
    • Create templates, checklists, and tracking tools for repeatable use
    • Identify process improvements to strengthen future cycles

    Operational Closeout Support

    • Coordinate confirmation of:
      • Work product transfer and archival
      • Documentation integrity
      • Systems access transition in accordance with policy
    • Support alignment with volunteer lifecycle governance standards

    • Opportunity to help define foundational infrastructure during a growth phase
    • Recognition as a contributor to a scalable program model
    • Professional references available upon successful completion of the engagement

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    • Strong written communication and synthesis skills
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Comfortable building structure in evolving environments
