    Description

Are you confident in the kitchen and love to cook? Join Transition Projects as a volunteer chef and help feed over 700 people a night experiencing homelessness.

We're looking for volunteers who can use our food/ingredients and our easy-to-follow recipes to cook dinner for one of our shelters. You would prepare a meal for 60-120 individuals using our food, supplies, and commercial kitchen. We'll provide you with the necessary training alongside our chef, and when you're comfortable you can begin cooking independently on days she is not working (Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays).

We ask volunteers commit to a weekly or biweekly meal for a minimum of 3-6 months. Valid OR Food Handler's Card is required.
