    Position Overview

    The Digital Media Creator / Designer is a creative volunteer role supporting EVENforONE’s survivor-led, trauma-informed mission to prevent human trafficking and support survivors. This role blends visual design and digital storytelling to create compelling content for social media, campaigns, handouts, posters, and other educational materials. Working closely with our team, you’ll help ensure all visuals are consistent, accessible, and aligned with our brand while raising awareness and inspiring action. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about design, creativity for social good, and making a meaningful impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design digital and print materials, including social media graphics, posters, one-pagers, and presentations that is survivor-centered and empowering
    • Write clear, engaging copy to accompany visual content
    • Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms, ensuring content is on-brand, trauma-informed, and reflects EVENforONE’s mission and values
    • Collaborate with the team on campaigns, awareness initiatives, and events
    • Translate complex information into accessible, compelling content
    • Track and analyze digital content and campaign performance to refine strategies

    Qualifications

    • Strong graphic design and layout skills (Canva) with experience designing for social media and print
    • Video editing experience for social media content
    • Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling abilities, with a creative eye for visual storytelling
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content best practices
    • Reliable, collaborative, and able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
    • Growth mindset and willingness to learn
    • Passion for human rights, social justice, and ethical storytelling
    • Must acquire and pass a background check

    Training & Support Provided

    • Orientation on branding and survivor-centered communication
    • Tools and templates for content creation
    • Regular communication with and support from the supervisor (COO)
