Represent SVT at local community events where SVT has an information table. Answer questions about SVT's mission, local trails, and volunteer opportunities. Distribute maps and information. Collect names for the newsletter mailing list.

Some events require the transport and setup of a table and pop-up tent, and for those events the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds in order to move tables and set up tents is appreciated but not required. Other events do not have this requirement. People of all abilities are encouraged to apply.
