    Description

Are you passionate about storytelling, community impact, or creating something meaningful from the ground up? We're launching a podcast that amplifies real voices and untold stories—from recovery to resilience—and we’re building a small but mighty team of volunteers to help bring it to life.

We’re currently seeking Content Managers to help with planning, show structure, and episode scheduling, and Producers who can help with editing, story development, and coordination with guests.

While this is currently an unpaid opportunity, you’ll receive professional credit, portfolio material, and be part of a collaborative creative team with the potential to grow as we pursue funding. If you're a student, early-career professional, or just passionate about meaningful audio work, we’d love to hear from you.

    • Resume or a short description of past content creation experience (formal or informal – social media, podcasting, journalism, nonprofit storytelling, etc.)
    • Any writing sample or content sample (optional, but encouraged — even a social media post, blog, or podcast clip)

    Step 2: Application Review

Our team will review applications on a rolling basis. Selected candidates will be contacted for a brief initial screening (by phone or Zoom) to discuss:

    • Their interest and availability
    • Their experience with content development, organization, or production
    • Their comfort level working in a volunteer capacity
    • Their ideas and creativity for podcast themes, stories, or outreach

    • Share creative ideas
    • Talk about possible assignments (show notes, episode brainstorming, social media content, guest research)
    • Clarify expectations (e.g., hours per week, collaboration style, communication)

    Step 4: Volunteer Onboarding

    If selected, volunteers will:

    • Receive a simple Volunteer Agreement outlining expectations (time commitment, confidentiality, credit for contributions)
    • Be added to the project communication platform (Slack, Email Group, Trello, etc.)
    • Attend a brief onboarding/training meeting to review project tools, timelines, and creative vision

    Step 5: Start Collaborating!

Once onboarded, volunteers will begin working alongside the podcast team, contributing to episode planning, guest support, promotional content, and creative storytelling.
