    Description

    Volunteering Opportunities are available! Amedisys Hospice is looking for individuals who have a "Hospice Heart" to help our patients and their families as well as our amazing support team.

    WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

    Would you like to connect with patients and their families to discuss their life story? How about celebrating a birthday with them or even "checking in" to make sure they have all of the supplies they need? Is honoring a veteran important to you - it is to us and we need veteran volunteers to make this dream a reality. Volunteers can provide critical office support, home respite and companionship visits. And if you have a certified companionship animal - pet companionship visits.

    WHAT IS REQUIRED?

    4-8 Hours per month after application and training

    CAN I TRY DIFFERENT OPPORTUNITIES?

    Absolutely! We want this experience to be fulfilling for you - so we have a variety of projects to benefit our volunteers so that they can help our patients.
