CDD’s PALS University is seeking volunteers to lead or assist with meaningful, individualized activities for adults with developmental disabilities. This flexible opportunity invites volunteers to share their time, interests, and skills in ways that enrich participants’ daily experiences.
Examples of volunteer activities include mentoring or life skills coaching, leading classroom-style lessons, hosting coffee conversations or discussion groups, supporting creative or recreational sessions (music, arts, cooking, sports, etc.), and sharing personal expertise or hobbies.
Individuals with specialized knowledge—such as tutoring, teaching, or practical skills—are especially encouraged to participate. For instance, someone with a background in math tutoring could offer engaging lessons or activities related to math and problem-solving.
Join us in helping create enriching, person-centered experiences that foster learning, connection, and community.
