Lotus Blossom Hospice Military Veteran Volunteer

Lotus Blossom will continue to use best practices and use recommended infection control during patient visits.

At Lotus Blossom Hospice we are proud to do our part in honoring our country's veterans. We feel it is our duty to serve those whose sacrifice and patriotism define our great nation. Our duty is to provide the veteran and their family with professional and dignified hospice care during their time of need, and to support them in honoring their loved ones for their dedication and selfless service.

Lotus Blossom Hospice is honored to care for veterans where they reside during their end of life care journey. Volunteers who are Veterans are needed to call and mostly just be present. We also perform a wonderful presentation to honor our veterans to include a hand knitted lap blanket, bedside salute with a certificate, recited flag poem, and a folded flag for the veteran.

Hospice volunteers play a vital role in hospice care organizations. Many of our patients need companionship. With your time and talents, you will be able to help many people find peace in their lives.
