    Come volunteer at our sanctuary!

    Goatlandia is a non-profit farm animal sanctuary and rescue organization in Sebastopol California, located in beautiful Sonoma County. We have goats, pigs, horses, cows, sheep, chickens, geese, peafowl, and ducks. We are looking for volunteers that can commit to 3 hours a day, one day a week for a minimum of 3 months, to helping provide enrichment and socialization to our sanctuary residents. Ideal volunteer candidates will have experience working with farm animals and will be confident in reading their body language. Tasks may include providing socialization, developing & implementing new enrichment items, spending quiet time with new residents to assist with acclimation, providing exercise and physical therapy, etc.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • loves and respects animals
    • has a strong working knowledge of animal behavior & body language
    • is hardworking and proactive
    • is responsible, positive and happy
