    Volunteer to Support Street Children Education

    Organization: Street Children to School Initiative (SCS Initiative)

    Location: Kano, Nigeria (with some remote support options)

    About Us:

    Street Children to School Initiative is a community-based movement working to remove children from the streets and provide them with access to quality education. We believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and build a better future.

    Volunteer Role:

    We are looking for passionate volunteers to help us in:

    Community outreach with parents and guardians

    Tutoring and mentoring street children

    Organizing awareness campaigns on education rights

    Supporting fundraising and resource mobilization

    Creating digital content to advocate for children’s education

    Requirements:

    Passion for children and education

    Good communication skills (English or Hausa is an advantage)

    Commitment to work with communities with empathy and respect

    Prior experience in teaching, advocacy, or child welfare is a plus (but not required)

    Time Commitment: Flexible (part-time volunteering, can be once or twice a week)
