Minors missions is a program dedicated to allowing teens and young adults to use stories and film as a way to make change in their community. The program is 5 weeks long. During which we will discuss and learn filmmaking techniques. The participants will then choose a topic affecting their local community that they are passionate about. Together the participants will create a short film/ presentation about their topic and how their community can improve. After preparing, the participants will present the project to local community members in an effort to change their neighborhood for the better. This program will help young students expand their portfolio as well as learn communication skills, presentation skills, and collaboration. At the end of the program the participant may receive up to 20 hours of community service.

The program will begin Jan 5th - Feb 8th
