The Georgia Fall Festival of Trees is a beloved holiday tradition for all ages, featuring a forest of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, children’s activities, live entertainment, boutique gift shops, sugar cookie decorating, a gingerbread competition, and much more. This festive experience brings the community together to celebrate the season and support important causes.
At the close of the festival, volunteers play a critical role in helping ensure a smooth and successful event wrap-up. Volunteers will assist with tear-down activities, including carefully packing auction items such as Christmas trees, wreaths, ornaments, décor, equipment, and other event materials so they can be safely transported or stored. Assignments will vary and may include both heavier lifting tasks and lighter, detail-oriented responsibilities.
This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who enjoy hands-on work, being part of a team, and supporting large-scale community events. Clear instructions and on-site support will be provided throughout the shift.
Volunteer Appreciation Bonus:
Volunteers who register on or before November 16 will receive a free ticket to enjoy the Festival of Trees during its run from November 19–29, 2026 as a thank-you for supporting event tear-down.
A redemption code will be emailed to all eligible volunteers approximately one week before the festival opens.
Parking: Deck 1 is the most convenient, but you may park in any Gas South District deck. Parking gates will be open when you leave, so there will be no charge since the festival has ended.
