Our multimedia work plays a key role in amplifying these stories and celebrating creativity as a powerful form of healing.

    Role Overview

The Colorist / Color Editor plays a critical role in shaping the final visual look and emotional tone of A Free Bird’s multimedia content. Working closely with the Visual Effects Artist, video editors, and creative leadership, you will enhance music videos and digital content through thoughtful color correction and creative color grading.

    • Establish and maintain a consistent visual style across projects
    • Collaborate with the multimedia team to refine the final look of video assets
    • Work closely with the Creative Director to interpret and elevate the creative vision
    • Balance technical accuracy with artistic expression to enhance storytelling
    • Review footage and address color inconsistencies or visual issues
    • Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently within project timelines

    Skills & Qualifications

    • 1–2+ years of experience in color grading, color correction, or video post-production (academic, freelance, or volunteer experience accepted)
    • Proficiency with color grading software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools
    • Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, and visual aesthetics
    • Ability to produce stylistically consistent color-graded video and graphics
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong visual judgment
    • Comfortable collaborating remotely with creative teams
    • Portfolio or reel demonstrating color grading or visual editing work preferred
