    Volunteer with Common Ground Institute – Be a Catalyst for Positive Change!

    Seeking Social Media Volunteers

    Are you passionate about promoting peace, understanding, and community harmony? Common Ground Institute (CGI) is committed to conflict resolution and seeks like-minded volunteers to help us make a difference. Together, we can build a more peaceful and inclusive community. Note: this is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity.

    Who We Are:

    Common Ground Institute is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2021 to help bridge interpersonal, social, and political divides, and create a more unified and compassionate society. We are committed to resolving conflicts, promoting dialogue, and building stronger, more resilient communities through education, mediation, and advocacy. Volunteers are essential to our success!

    We are in the process of transitioning from Creating Common Ground to Common Ground Institute and building a new website.

    Who We Seek:

    Currently, we seek volunteers with extensive Social Media skills. This will include creating and posting content, images and videos.

    Ideal Candidates Will Have/Be:

    • 21 years of age or older
    • Committed to our mission, vision and values
    • Previous volunteer experience
    • A college degree
    • Ability to dedicate time for volunteer work, meetings and events
    • Collaborative mindset and a passion for conflict transformation

    Time & Resource Commitments

    • Commit to 5-6 hours of volunteer work per week
    • Attend 1-hour weekly volunteer meetings via Zoom
    • Contribute your subject-matter expertise
    • Provide input into organizational activities
    • Attend virtual events and represent organization as needed
