Opportunity Overview
Join us in creating a memorable evening for our patrons! We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers (ages 21+) to assist with our post-concert reception. Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring a warm, elegant, and welcoming experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reception setup, including arranging tables, flowers, and refreshments
- Pour and serve beverages
- Greet and engage warmly with patrons and guests
- Help with breakdown and cleanup after the event (packing supplies, clearing tables, disposing of trash, etc.)
Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs
- Friendly, reliable, and a team player
- Interest in the arts

Directions
Herbst Theatre is part of the War Memorial Performing Arts Center and across the street from City Hall on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco. The reception will be held in The Green Room, which is located on the second floor of the building. When you walk in, proceed straight to the elevators and go up to the second floor. There are security guards to the left of the main entrance if you need further assistance.

- UC Hastings College of Law Garage—Entrance on Larkin (between McAllister and Golden Gate)
- Civic Center Plaza Garage—Entrance on McAllister (between Polk and Larkin)
- Opera Plaza Parking Garage—Entrance on Golden Gate (between Van Ness and Franklin)
