Volunteer German Tutors

Ramzuna Languages is a global network of instructors dedicated to empowering Palestinians through personalised language tutoring. Our mission is to connect certified German teachers or experienced tutors with students in Gaza, the West Bank, and the Palestinian diaspora, fostering educational growth and cultural exchange. We are currently seeking volunteers committed to providing one-to-one lessons to Palestinian students for a minimum duration of three months.

All volunteers must undergo comprehensive online training focused on trauma-informed teaching practices. This training equips our instructors with the skills necessary to support students in challenging environments.

Based on availability and interests, each volunteer will be carefully matched with a student for weekly 90-minute virtual sessions. These sessions are designed to be engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs, goals and interests, promoting language fluency and confidence. Our programme is organised around four core courses: Academic German, General German, Conversation and Storytelling. These courses cater to a wide range of student goals, from academic advancement and everyday communication to creative and expressive language use.
