Share the bond of military service as a Veteran to Veteran Volunteer!

NorthStar Home Hospice is calling on local veterans, including those who have served or are currently serving in the military, to provide companionship and supportive visits to veterans in hospice care, who live in their own homes or long-term care facilities throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

As a Veteran to Veteran volunteer you can provide much needed comfort and companionship through friendly visits to local veterans with life limiting illnesses, strengthened by the bond of military service. You can also participate in special programs and events where we honor veterans service to our country.

Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team, and we provide you with ongoing support, comprehensive onboarding/training, and screenings at no cost to you. Once you complete your orientation and screenings, we will strive to assign you close to your home or work, and based on your schedule and availability.
