    Tutors must be 18 or older and will need to consent to a background check. Training and materials will be provided to ensure you are comfortable helping the student.

    Description

    Meet for 1 hour a week with an adult English Language Learner to help them work on their English skills. Some students want to focus on specific skills like job preparation or English grammar, while others just want a conversation partner! Location for sessions can be any of the Johnson County Public Library branches. The Adult Learning Center is housed in the Whiteland branch, but other branches are located in Greenwood, Franklin, and Trafalgar. Schedule is based on tutor and student availability throughout the week.
