    Description

    Massage Therapy Hospice Volunteer PROVIDE CALM AND COMFORT THAT BRINGS GRATIFICATION

    Massage Therapy Hospice Volunteer

    Purpose: To provide calm and comfort to hospice patients through touch and massage therapies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide gentle, supportive massage at patient request
    • Be willing to adapt techniques to suit patients who may be elderly, frail, or in pain
    • Respect patient's home environment and personal preferences

    Requirements:

    • State of Ohio Massage Therapy License (current)
    • Hospice orientation & training
    • Health and safety screenings (including TB test and Flu shot)

    Time Commitment:

    • Minimum of one visit per month for at least 6 months
