    Respondents need experience in the development of mobile apps either for android or iPhone. While we are contemplating React Native or Flutter, we are open to other approaches - if they are effective.

    Description

    Mobile App Developer (React Native or Flutter)

    We are developing an application for rural water utilities that will allow residents to know when water is off and for field technicians to communicate system issues to residents. This app will need to be for both Android as well as iPhone. The app will also allow field technicians to record preventative maintenance and repairs to the system and to capture meter readings. Residents will be able to access data on water usage, water quality, and billing data.

    UX researchers and designers have the design ready, a database is in development, and a web app to support system office staff is also in development.

    We are building this application for one water utility but hope to license it for other utilities and in so doing, generate funds for the KeelWorks program for getting the chronically unemployed and under compensated either to work or to more sustaining employment.
