    Program Infrastructure Manager (Volunteer)

    About A&N Career Services Project

A&N Career Services Project is a career services and workforce readiness initiative supporting individuals as they navigate career transitions, build readiness, and connect with opportunity. Our work centers on practical guidance, employer engagement, and community-informed programming that strengthens career pathways.

The Project is currently in its launch and growth phase. Volunteers joining at this stage will help build the internal structure that allows programs, partnerships, and initiatives to move quickly and consistently.

    Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Program Infrastructure Manager to support the development of internal templates, tools, and standardized formats used across A&N Career Services Project.

This role focuses on building structure that others can use. You will help organize how programs, curriculum development, events, and partnerships are planned and documented, making it easier for the Project to scale and respond to new opportunities.

    Volunteer Engagement Format

This volunteer role is virtual-first and designed to offer flexibility for participants based in Atlanta and beyond. Volunteers will participate primarily through remote collaboration and meetings throughout the cohort period.

A brief in-person orientation will be hosted in Atlanta at the start of the cohort to welcome volunteers, share context on the work, and foster early connection. During the 12-week cohort, volunteers may also be invited to optional in-person meetings, events, or convenings aligned with cohort activities and A&N programming. These opportunities are designed to enhance connection, professional exposure, and engagement within the A&N network.

General in-person cohort meetings may be held up to three times during the 12-week period, and lunch will be provided for volunteers who attend. Participation in in-person activities is optional and intended as an enrichment opportunity rather than a requirement.

    What You Will Do

    • Develop and organize internal templates and tools used across the Project
    • Support the creation of standardized formats for programs, curriculum development, events, and partnerships
    • Help document and organize workflows that support consistent execution
    • Establish clear structures for shared resources and documentation
    • Collaborate with curriculum, communications, partnerships, and operations volunteers to ensure alignment
    • Strengthen launch-phase readiness by helping build systems others can easily adopt
    • Participate virtually. Occasional, flexible, and optional in-person meetings or events in the Atlanta area, as available

More than one volunteer may be selected for this role based on project needs.

You Will Be a Strong Fit If You

    • Have experience building templates, systems, or operational structures
    • Enjoy organizing information and creating clarity from complexity
    • Are comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
    • Bring experience in operations, consulting, program design, or project management
    • Want to contribute foundational work that supports long-term growth and impact

    What You Will Gain

    • Leadership-level volunteer experience with visible, lasting contributions
    • Portfolio-ready systems and infrastructure work
    • Professional references upon successful completion
    • Mentorship opportunities with experienced leaders in career services and workforce development
    • Inclusion in a growing professional network connected to A&N Career Services Project
