    Description

    Social Media Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s social media strategy across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engage the community, and support marketing and outreach goals. This role will create original content, manage daily posts, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics to inform strategy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.

    * Create engaging content (graphics, videos, captions) for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

    * Manage and schedule regular posts across all platforms.

    * Monitor social media accounts for engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community interaction.

    * Track analytics and provide monthly reports on engagement, reach, and growth.

    * Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and partners to highlight programs, events, and success stories.

    * Stay up to date with trends, best practices, and tools in social media marketing.

    * Support social media campaigns for fundraising, recruitment, and special events.

    Qualifications:

    * Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business, nonprofit, or brand.

    * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    * Creative content creation skills (graphic design, video editing a plus).

    * Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).

    * Knowledge of analytics tools and reporting.

    * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    * Passion for youth development and community engagement is a plus.
