    Description

    About Us:

Inkwell Publishers Inc. is a nonprofit publisher founded in 2020 on the belief that stories can heal, unite, and inspire change. Our mission is to amplify diverse voices, reimagine the publishing experience, and foster meaningful conversations through impactful storytelling.

    Role:

We’re looking for a creative and self-motivated Social Media Coordinator to help elevate InkWell’s digital presence and engage readers, authors, and supporters online. This volunteer role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, social impact, and community engagement.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Develop and manage InkWell’s social media calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok).
    • Create engaging posts, stories, and campaigns that highlight authors, books, and community initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the team on digital marketing strategies for events, book launches, and fundraising campaigns.
    • Monitor engagement metrics and suggest creative ways to increase reach and audience interaction.

    Our Ideal Volunteer:

    • Passionate about books, literacy, and social impact.
    • Skilled in social media content creation and scheduling tools (e.g., Canva, etc.).
    • Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
    • Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines independently.

    What You’ll Gain:

    • Hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing and publishing.
    • Opportunity to build your portfolio and expand your professional network.
    • Mentorship and collaboration with a creative, mission-driven team.
    • The satisfaction of knowing your work helps connect books and readers who need them most.
    • Copy of published books

Note: This is an unpaid position
