    Description

    Volunteer Financial Literacy Educator

    Join our mission to build a more financially resilient community! We believe financial literacy is a cornerstone of personal and community well-being. Our Volunteer Financial Literacy Educators are the frontline heroes, connecting directly with our individuals and families to provide the knowledge and tools needed for success.

    Your Role is to:

      • Lead virtual interactive, accessible sessions online.
      • Focus on practical, real-world application of financial principles (e.g., understanding basic budgeting, managing credit and debt and establishing emergency savings).
      • Foster confidence in participants, encouraging them to discuss money openly and make informed decisions.

    This is a great fit if you:

      • Are deeply committed to social equity and empowering underserved populations.
      • Enjoy connecting with people one-on-one and in small groups.

    We're Looking For:

      • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate "finance-speak" into clear, understandable terms.
      • A patient, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to working with people from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
