    Description

Are you a high school student and need community service hours? This is a great at home project for you. We can sign off on your hours.

Do you have a talent and can make gifts for patients? Please consider donating to them to Hospice of the Valley to provide to patients.

Patients sometimes are isolated and these gifts of love bring them comfort and joy. Some of the items crafters have donated in the past are paintings, lap blankets, scarves, hats, lap pillows, paper flowers in vases, drawings, home made bears, fidget sleeves and more. The possibilities are endless. Please keep in mind due to infection control all donated items must be new and not used.

This is truly a rewarding experience knowing that you are bringing joy, smiles and comfort to patients that are dying.

If you are interested in donating items you can contact me at teri.brown@sutterhealth.org.
