    Description

    GreatAuPair isn't just an agency - we're a bridge between cultures, creating lasting connections that enrich both American families and international young adults. As a US Department of State designated organization, we've been fostering meaningful cultural exchange since 2001.

    As a Local Childcare Coordinator, you will:

    • Welcome international au pairs into your community with warmth and support.
    • Guide local families through their cultural exchange journey.
    • Conduct Host Family Interviews to prepare host families for welcoming an au pair.
    • Be the friendly face that helps resolve challenges and celebrate successes.
    • Conduct a monthly activity for au pairs to experience life in the United States.

    The Local Childcare Coordinator also fosters cultural understanding by:

    • Sharing the joy of cultural exchange with families in your area.
    • Helping international visitors feel welcomed and supported.
    • Create connections that often last a lifetime.

    Requirements:

    This is a remote opportunity with on-site work at the Host Family Interview, Au Pair Arrival Orientation, and monthly au pair activity. A stipend is paid for these activities.
