    About Us

    The International Association of Youth Courts (IAYC) is a global nonprofit initiative dedicated to empowering young people through restorative justice, peer-led courts, and leadership development. We unite youth court programs worldwide, provide resources, and advocate for youth-driven justice solutions.

    Position Overview

    The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to raise awareness of IAYC, attract partnerships, and expand our global impact. This is a leadership volunteer role, ideal for an experienced marketing professional passionate about youth empowerment and international collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Brand Strategy: Develop and implement IAYC’s brand identity and messaging across platforms.
    • Digital Marketing: Manage and grow our presence on social media, website, and email campaigns.
    • Content Creation: Oversee the development of newsletters, press releases, blogs, and promotional materials.
    • Public Relations: Build relationships with journalists, academic journals, media outlets, and partner organizations to increase visibility.
    • Campaign Management: Design and execute global awareness and fundraising campaigns.
    • Partnership Development: Support collaboration with universities, nonprofits, and youth organizations.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the success of marketing efforts.
    • Leadership: Supervise and mentor a small volunteer marketing/communications team.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or related field (nonprofit experience preferred).
    • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
    • Familiarity with digital tools (Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, WordPress, etc.).
    • Experience with public relations, media outreach, or fundraising campaigns.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cultures and time zones.
    • Passion for youth empowerment, justice reform, and international development.
