    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced GED Instructor to help our students prepare for the General Education Development (GED) test.

    The instructor’s responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans, monitoring student performance, and providing individualized instruction.

    The ideal candidate should be a compassionate educator who can understand the unique challenges that adult learners face and possess a deep knowledge of the GED test sections.

    Ultimately, the role of the GED Instructor is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass the GED exam and make positive strides towards their future educational or career goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive GED lesson plans
    • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
    • Adapt teaching methods to meet students’ varying needs and interests
    • Prepare students for each section of the GED test: Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning through Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science
    • Conduct regular student assessments to determine areas of improvement
    • Provide a positive and encouraging learning environment
    • Stay updated on the latest GED test changes and requirements

    Qualifications

    • Proven work experience as a GED Instructor or similar role
    • Deep knowledge of the GED test sections and requirements
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Patient and compassionate demeanor
    • Able to adapt teaching methods to meet student needs
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education
