Dear Applicant,
Ignite Your Technical Passion and Join Our Dynamic Team!
The data analysis and social media analysis internship is aimed at developing and fostering analytical skills that will enable the intern to perform, evaluate, and present relevant information from both descriptive and predictive statistical analysis. The interns will be analyzing discrete and continuous quantitative social media data by using different techniques, including but not limited to, linear regression, correlations, Bayesian networks, as well as decision trees. Propose an algorithmic framework to use a predictive model based on the previously collected data, capable of estimating the expected performance of our social media accounts and characterizing the previously successful content (posts, reels and stories).
Based on the analysis, interns are expected to come up with and apply insightful recommendations to our social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, X, Linkedin and TikTok. They will then be responsible for creating posts, reels and stories that will foster our social media presence and reach a wider audience, aligning with the overall purpose of our nonprofit organization to preserve and advance Yiddish language and culture within the US and worldwide.
Our interns receive free access to all YAAANA and Yiddishland California events and classes as well as to the YAAANA and Yiddishland California archives. Internships are unpaid, but can be taken for college credit. We offer in-person and remote internships.
