At Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue, every adoption is the result of countless caring hands working together. As a General Volunteer, you'll be part of the essential team that makes rescue work possible — from the moment animals arrive to the day they go home with their perfect families.

🐶 What You'll Do

• Walk dogs during adoption events, giving them exercise and helping them showcase their personalities
• Check in new adopters and guide them through their adoption journey
• Set up event pens and ensure all dogs have fresh water throughout the day
• Care for our cats by cleaning habitat units at our PetCo Denver location
• Support behind-the-scenes operations by sorting laundry, bagging food, and organizing harnesses
• Interview potential adopters to help ensure great matches between pets and families

📍 Where & When

• Where: PetCo, 4100 E. Colorado Blvd., Denver (weekly) and PetSmart, 10600 Melody Drive, Northglenn (a few times a month)
• When: Saturdays, 11:00 am –3:00 pm
