    Fundraising Volunteer

    Join our dynamic team and help amplify the voices of teens who identify as girls! Our teen girl-produced magazine is dedicated to publishing content created by and for teens. As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our magazine continues to thrive and reach more young readers.

    Based in DuPage County, IL - much of the work can be remote.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Planning Fundraising Activities: Collaborate with the fundraising committee to brainstorm, plan, and implement innovative and engaging fundraising events and campaigns.
    • Grant Writing: Assist in researching potential grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and managing the submission process.
    • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
    • Campaign Management: Help track the progress of fundraising initiatives, manage budgets, and report on outcomes.
    • Marketing and Promotion: Work with the marketing team to promote fundraising activities through social media, newsletters, and other channels.
    • Information Management: Includes maintaining fundraising databases, scheduling meetings, and preparing materials.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for supporting teens who identify as girls and amplifying their voices.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creativity and enthusiasm for planning and executing fundraising events.
    • Basic understanding of grant writing and fundraising principles.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    Time Commitment:

    • Minimum of [X] hours per week, flexible scheduling.
    • Participation in regular committee meetings (frequency to be determined).
