    Description

    • Support classroom instruction by assisting the lead teacher with lessons, group activities, and hands-on learning.
    • Provide individual or small group support to students who need extra help with reading, writing, math, or other subjects.
    • Supervise students during class, transitions, recess, and outings, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
    • Prepare and organize learning materials such as worksheets, art supplies, and activity stations.
    • Assist with classroom management by reinforcing rules, encouraging positive behavior, and helping resolve minor conflicts.
    • Help with administrative tasks such as taking attendance, recording progress, and setting up classroom displays.
    • Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment by supporting students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
    • Communicate with the lead teacher about student progress, challenges, or any observations that may support learning outcomes.

    Who We're Looking For:

    • Minimum age: 12
    • Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and softwares
    • Complete training prior to start date
    • Can commit to the shift schedule

    Bonus Skills:

    • Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English
    • Previous volunteer experience
