About the Role:
We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Digital Content Coordinator (volunteer) to help maintain and enhance our websites and assist with other technical needs. The person in this role will create and update digital content to supplement contracted web development services. It is ideal for someone with a passion for the online space and who enjoys connecting the dots for people, whether it be web design and content management, or in new platforms you haven’t had the opportunity to geek out on yet. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our online presence is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with our mission. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain marketable experience and contribute to the creation of high quality and safe environments for all people who access health care.

- You can easily update and manage website content using content management systems (CMS).
- You can assist in designing and formatting new pages or blog posts.
- You know WordPress and can troubleshoot minor technical issues and ensure website functionality.
- You have experience in optimizing content for SEO and accessibility.
- You feel comfortable working with different departments to implement design and content updates.
- You are flexible and understand that this role may also help support other technical needs (e.g., podcast, CRM, LMS, social posts, email marketing, MS365).
- You approach work with positivity and high energy.
- You have experience monitoring site performance and are comfortable making data-driven suggestions to improve user experience on the website.
- You are comfortable with giving and receiving feedback.
- You are self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- You are eager to learn and contribute to an expanding nonprofit.
Pluses:
- You know your way around Google Analytics (GA4); that would be the cherry on top!
- You have 2+ years of experience with WordPress (student, volunteer, or professional).
- You know other platforms like MailerLite, HubSpot, LinkedIn, and learning management systems.
- You have prior knowledge of the FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction documents.
- You have experience in the health care design and construction industry.
