    Description

    Grounded Boots Relief is serving as the alcohol sponsor for an upcoming community event at Continuum on March 7. We are seeking one volunteer bartender to support the evening.

    Experience behind the bar is preferred, but not required. If you are reliable, comfortable engaging with guests, and willing to learn, we will provide guidance and support.

    Event timeline:

    • Setup begins at 4:00 PM
    • Guest arrival at 7:00 PM
    • Breakdown concludes around 11:00 PM

    Volunteers should be punctual, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.

    We are also seeking additional volunteer bartenders for a separate event on February 27. If you are available for one or both dates, please indicate your interest when responding.

    This is a great opportunity to support disaster response efforts while engaging with the community in a fun, high-energy setting.

    Instructions:
    1. Send a brief message introducing yourself. Include:
      • Your full name
      • Phone number
      • Relevant bartending or event experience, if any
      • Which date(s) you are available (February 27 and/or March 7)
    2. Confirm your availability for the full event window:
      • Setup at 4:00 PM
      • Guest service from 7:00 PM
      • Breakdown ending approximately 11:00 PM
    3. Participate in a short pre-event meeting.
    4. Interested volunteers will attend a brief screening and coordination meeting prior to the event. This may be conducted:
      • Virtually via Zoom, Discord, or
      • In person
    5. The purpose of this meeting is to review expectations, confirm responsibilities, discuss alcohol service policies, and ensure alignment with Grounded Boots Relief standards.

    Selection is based on reliability, professionalism, and ability to represent the organization well in a public setting.
