The New London Area Food Pantry (NLAFP), an all-volunteer organization established in 1986, is looking for drivers, using their personal pickup trucks, to assist in picking up food donations for the Pantry. The size of the loads vary from a few cases to a pallet. The pickups are twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. The time required will be approximately 2-4 hours each day driving in an area < 10 miles from the Pantry. New volunteers will work with a team of 3 current drivers, all sharing assignments. Potential drivers must have a valid license and a good driving record and are required to maintain personal auto liability limits of $100,000 or combined single limit of $100,000/$300,000.
Drivers are welcome to participate in other facets of Pantry operation if they wish.
