    Conduct a Brief Intake & Provide Resources at our Food Pantry (Tuesdays, West Chicago)

    Meet briefly with Spanish-speaking neighbors visiting our food pantry and update their demographic information in our database. Provide basic resource information to them.

    Training to use our database is provided.

      • You are 18+ years old
      • You are fluent in Spanish
      • You are warm and welcoming, while maintaining boundaries
      • You are comfortable asking follow-up questions to learn more
      • You are very comfortable interacting with people from many cultures and backgrounds, using translation tools when needed
      • You are experienced using a computer - typing, searching, and navigating forms
      • You are excited to learn about community resources
      • You can volunteer 2-4x/mo during this shift:
        • Tuesdays, 3:30-6:15pm
