    Description

    Mentor a youth

The goal of the Lewis County Youth Mentorship Program is to match youth, 12-17 years of age, with an adult Mentor who will spend time each week supporting and encouraging the youth. This program is available to all youth who live or attend school in Lewis County. The target audience are youth who lack support - no family support, no connections with staff, teachers or coaches at school, they are not involved in sports, music, theater, clubs or youth groups and do not have friends that they hang out with regularly. The Mentor and Mentee will schedule their own meetings, ideally weekly. Activities, special outings as well as equipment (that can be checked out) are provided to encourage meetings.
