Grant Writer

Role Description

We are a nonprofit in need of a volunteer Grant Writer with experience in nonprofit grant writing and fundraising. This role would require no more than 5 hours per week, and can be done remotely with flexible hours. The Grant Writer will be responsible for writing and developing grant proposals, conducting prospect research, and administering grants. Duties will include:

• Researching available grants and other prospective sources of funding.
• Assembling grant requests including proposals, letters, and presentations.
• Filling out the proper application forms, gathering the required documents, and submitting them prior to the posted deadlines.
• Follow up with requests and submit any additional information as required by the grant making organization.
