    Description

Volunteer Fundraising & Grant Writing Support Specialist

TruthHackers is seeking a motivated volunteer to help us grow our mission to combat misinformation through education and media. This role offers flexibility for someone just starting out in fundraising/grant writing or a seasoned professional looking to contribute their skills to a cause they care about.

You’ll support - and have the opportunity to lead - key fundraising activities, depending on your experience and interest. This can include:

    • Researching and tracking potential funders and grants.
    • Drafting and refining grant applications, letters of inquiry, and donor communications.
    • Helping design and implement fundraising campaigns.
    • Organizing records and tracking progress toward fundraising goals.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Strong writing and communication skills.
    • Comfort with online research and document creation (Google Docs/Sheets).
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
    • A collaborative spirit and commitment to our mission.
    • Able to commit a few hours a week for at least 3 months (schedule flexible).

    Why Volunteer With Us:

    • Gain or expand experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing.
    • Collaborate with an experienced nonprofit leadership team.
    • Make a meaningful impact by helping us secure the resources to fight misinformation.
    • Flexible role that can grow with your skills and availability.
