    Description

    Director of  Operations

    Director of Operations will be responsible for coordinating and supervising each initiative. The Director reports to the Director of Corporate Operations and the Board President and/or Chairman. The Director sits on the Executive Committee to ensure each initiative serves the needs of the community where it exists and to monitor, develop and implement policy and procedures as directed by Corporate Philosophy and the Board of Directors. The Director oversees and monitors the Fundraising and Marketing Teams.

    The Director with the Director of Education designs, monitors, evaluates and supervises the Educational Programs of the corporation, as well as additional educational programs for affiliates. With the Director Human Resources Development will be responsible for assigning and training of all program staff and volunteers. With the Community Resources Director shall: be responsible for acquiring resources and information necessary for public awareness of Org programs and services.

    With Media Relations Director is responsible for public awareness of all programs and services. They will seek publication of articles and information promoting our services. With the Director Youth Initiatives will create, implement and oversee all youth development programs for each affiliate. With Funding Research Consultant will be responsible for researching, identifying and initial contact of funding sources.

    The Director is responsible for assigning and training of all program staff and volunteers regarding corporate projects. The Director will be responsible for review, preparation and filing of annual report and related financial reports to civic authorities and to the Board, assist with review and preparation of corporate tax returns, works with Executive Committee on preparation of annual budget, and other related duties required by the office or by direction of the Board of Directors and/or Corporation’s President and/or CEO. Liaison between Board, Staff and Community.

    This is a remote/virtual position however, the preferred candidate will live/work in the Chicagoland area.
