    Description

    Join Us in Breaking Barriers Today for a Better Tomorrow

    Our mission to assist individuals and families in DeKalb County by connecting them with essential resources to achieve social and economic self-sufficiency. We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

    Strategic & Administrative Support

      • Community Outreach Liaison – Builds relationships with local partners and assists in recruiting volunteers.
      • Volunteer Coordinator – Manages onboarding, scheduling, and support for other volunteers.
      • Administrative Support Assistant – Helps with filing, emails, scheduling, and grant prep.

    Program & Client Services

      • Homeless Services Navigator – Assists with referrals, intake, and resource coordination for unhoused individuals.
      • Domestic Violence Advocate (Volunteer) – Supports survivors with safety planning, referrals, and emotional support.
      • Resource Distribution Assistant – Assists in organizing and distributing food, hygiene kits, and clothing.

    Communications & Fundraising

      • Social Media & Outreach Volunteer – Manages posts, shares impact stories, and promotes events.
      • Fundraising Support Volunteer – Assists with donor outreach, event planning, and grant research.

    Impact Story Collector – Interviews clients (with consent) and documents success stories for funders
