    Description

    Support Role

Help Tridah grow by identifying funding opportunities, writing short proposals, and developing outreach materials that communicate our mission. Perfect for students, writers, or professionals interested in nonprofit development and social impact.

    What You’ll Do

As a Grant Writer or Fundraising Volunteer with Tridah, you’ll help us build the foundation for sustainable growth and outreach.

You’ll work closely with the founder to identify small grant opportunities and write clear, compelling materials that share Tridah’s vision of accessible, open-source technology for everyone.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Researching potential grant opportunities and donor programs
    • Drafting short proposals or letters of inquiry (LOIs)
    • Helping organize project descriptions and budgets for applications
    • Writing copy for outreach or community updates (as needed)
    • Collaborating with the board and other volunteers on fundraising ideas

At this early stage, your contributions will directly shape how we share Tridah’s impact with funders and partners.

    Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who enjoy writing, organization, or research — and who believe in open access and digital equity.

    Ideal candidates may have:

    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Attention to detail and organization
    • Interest in nonprofits, community development, or social good
    • Ability to collaborate remotely and meet light deadlines
    • (Optional) Experience with grant writing or fundraising materials

No prior grant writing experience is required — we’re happy to support and guide new volunteers who are eager to learn.

    Time Commitment

Approx. 3–6 hours per month, flexible.

This role is fully remote and can adapt to your availability.

    Typical activities include:

    • Researching grant sources (30–60 minutes/week)
    • Drafting or reviewing short proposals
    • Communicating updates via email or shared docs
