    Description

    Volunteer Manager

    The Volunteer Manager will play a key leadership role in coordinating and supporting our team of volunteers. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Working closely with leadership, the Volunteer Manager will help recruit, train, and retain volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and meaningful experience while supporting FSP Against Bullying’s mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers.
    • Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments.
    • Support, mentor, and motivate volunteers to ensure engagement and retention.
    • Maintain volunteer records and track participation hours.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers, addressing questions or concerns.
    • Recognize and celebrate volunteer contributions.
    • Collaborate with leadership to identify volunteer needs for programs, events, and special projects.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on volunteer activities and engagement.

    Qualifications

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Experience in volunteer coordination, human resources, or team leadership (preferred, not required).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a virtual environment.
    • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and online collaboration tools.
    • Passion for FSP Against Bullying’s mission and commitment to supporting others.

    Time Commitment

    • Approximately 4 hours per week (flexible schedule).
    • Occasional participation in virtual meetings or events.
