    Description

    Chatham County Aging Services provides free tax preparation through the VITA program. Last season, our volunteers completed 902 tax returns—up from 788 the year before. This was made possible by just 32 dedicated volunteers over more than 30 sessions held in Pittsboro, Siler City, and Goldston.

    We’re now recruiting volunteers for the upcoming season!

      • Retired accountants: Your expertise is especially needed.
      • No experience? We’ll provide full training
      • Not into tax prep? There are plenty of other ways to help.
